Eldonian Rugby Show Pelham
The Rugby Pelham is a bit used in the dressage or show ring. It is the compromise between a snaffle and a Weymouth. It is used for those who do not like using the Weymouth and Bradoon double bit option. Therefore commonly two reins are used with this bit, however with the fixed shank, there is not a lot of difference with using one or two reins.
This bit suits horses who do not like double bits or may have a small mouth. Also suited to amateur riders or the child rider who has not yet mastered double bridle concept.
Single jointed stainless steel bit by eJeffries Saddlery Europe.
