Australian designed dressage legal snaffle created for softness, stability and clear communication.
The 16 mm three piece mouthpiece features an elliptic center link to encourage even tongue pressure and a more stable, comfortable connection. The rose toned synthetic rubber coating over stainless steel offers a modern feel, while the eggbutt cheekpiece provide quiet lateral stability and reduce unnecessary movement within the mouth.
At 16 mm, the mouthpiece provides a more substantial feel, often suited to horses that prefer additional stability or riders seeking a slightly more forgiving connection. A thoughtful option for horses that can be reactive to the contact, hit the bit, or are prone to mouth sensitivity such as rubbing or splitting.
In our experience with this style, we have seen it can work well on:
