The Balanced Contact mouthpiece features a 3-piece lozenge design that allows independent rein action while preventing over-rotation. A subtle internal locking mechanism limits excessive closure, reducing bar pressure and avoiding the jaw squeeze commonly seen in traditional jointed bits.

Balanced Contact folds without collapsing onto the tongue, maintaining light tongue clearance for consistent, comfortable support.

Commonly recommended for jaw or bar-sensitive horses and finer types, including Thoroughbreds, Australian Stock Horses, ponies, and refined Warmbloods. A good option for horses that tend to come above the bit or react against contact.
