Designed for horses that benefit from subtle tongue relief while still encouraging self-carriage, this loose ring snaffle supports a lighter, more responsive connection without providing excessive stability for the horse to lean or sit against.

The Classic Rise mouthpiece features a 3-piece lozenge design with a very small rise over the tongue, creating gentle tongue clearance for horses with a larger or fuller tongue. Independent rein action allows for clear lateral communication and refinement of the aids.

Unlike our locking Balanced Contact mouthpieces, this design has no locking mechanism, allowing the mouthpiece to remain more mobile and responsive through the contact.

The subtle rise helps accommodate the tongue without creating a pronounced port, making it particularly useful for horses that require a little more tongue room while still needing to learn to carry themselves rather than relying on the bit for support.

The 70mm loose rings provide a lighter, more mobile feel compared with smaller or fixed cheek styles. This movement can encourage the horse to remain responsive to the rein and develop a more independent, elastic connection.
