This construction provides the movement of a traditional double-jointed bit without exposed joints, helping prevent pinching of the tongue, palate and sensitive tissues.

The mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly around the tongue while providing more precise rein aids than a straight flexible mouthpiece.

Has 3 rings located on the shank. Upper one used to fasten the cheek strap; middle ring, which loosely passes through the mouthpiece and the lower one used to attach reins. It can be used with one or two pairs of reins, as well as with a pelham strap.
